My wife for some reason sees this as being some sort of horrific act on my part. She's hardcore anti-AC to begin with but relents grudgingly when it's real fucking hot out and we are stuck in traffic or whatnot.
I blast the AC and open the windows.
It's the most comfortable I can make myself while driving. The warm air and cold air hitting me simultaneously. Heaven.

She is under some kind of assumption this is equal to murdering puppies.

I only ever did it when it was hot as balls and I used to breeze to cool off until the AC kicked in.

In a car, I just stick to the AC, if AC is an option. If there is no AC, then you better believe I'm rolling the windows down.

Never both at the same time, though.

its called an Air Conditioner. It's meant to be a closed loop system. Keeping the windows open will kill your mpg. My girlfriend does this all the time.
