Sega got bought by Sammy, right? it's not "my" video game exactly, but the Sammy game called "Glint" is the one where me and my two former bandmates generated all the audio (music, sfx, voices). I was trying to find one for our practice space (it's a coin-op) but my buddy whose brother still works there said that game is long dead, totally unavailable. yep. good times.

also, my lovely ladyfriend who posts here (she posts as 'ligh mo mhuceoil cleimhte') makes Singstar. I don't think it's as big as Pop Idol/KR in the states, but it's totally big over here.

I would like a game like guitar hero but its multiplayer online you meet and have to make up your own songs. Also tie that in with the amp builder thing somebody said earlier.

You could also have musical weapons build up followers who could fight for you in a musical war. The quality of your weapons/troops would depend on how loyal your fans were or somink. I dunno how it would work, if you where a rubbish band with a real teeny following even tho you had a massive army they would be easily beaten by say a good quality Math rock band who would be like the spec ops of the musical band warfare game.

Prog rock bands would be weak

death metal bands would be like berserkers

A clone of the videogame "Worms" featuring all our favourite bands and forum personalities divided into teams, using personalised weapons to blow the shit out of each other in the most humiliating ways possible.
Complete with terrain editors, team editors, weapon editors and the option to use your own soundtrack. Online play results in hours of fun and insane grudge matches.
Battle records are posted online as incentive to perform well.

If this happened, it would be the only game I would ever play.

Edit: Oh hey, I forgot, I have buddies who are programmers. A worms clone couldn't be that difficult, all things considered. Heck, I could probably accomplish it using macromedia flash if I had the time and resources. I'm gonna start work around Xmas. If this hasn't happened by this time next year, I probably forgot, so you should bump this post.
