I have been playing with this on my iphone. It is a MPC style sample player very professionaly done. The intergration with the touch screen is great like being able to start and stop point on loops with your fingers. I have only been using it for a day and I have been getting very usable stuff from it. It seems to be a killer music app finaly for the iphone.

The sequencer and fx are well done and it sounds great. Have not tried to get my own samples in yet but for $20 I am blown away. You get a mac program to doc that they are working on but is free for the price of the iphone program.

I don't have an iPhone. Yet.

Whatever phone you get next round will have this kind of stuff. iphone has all shanken all the US phone companies out of complacency. Every phone companies will have computer phones and the android - google platform will be very cool.

I don't think the iphone camera is up to Burum standards.

I got one due to work needs - I had a job that we put our consulting time in through the phone. If you have a mac it is real nice. The wireless harddrve file transfer thing seems nice for moving files around too. And I have a .mac (.me) site for my files and website so that is nice too.

From what you said about your composing process and how you are on the go this might be a fun tool. Cheap too.

The android will make the iphone look like a toy. fuck the iphone. the archos makes the iphone look like toy already , its just not a phone. big deal. Id rather have a good product than a crappy all in one toy.
