Man...to compare these two people to one another musically is just unfair to Liz Phair.

oh my, i had no idea that intuition song was jewel. thank you for sharing that.

this is a tough call... i have to listen to a couple jewel songs at the department store i work at. it's pretty brutal, but other songs i have to listen to can be much, much worse (had no idea how much i hate john mayer, for instance).

ultimately though, what she does, is like, and is into are completely outside of my sphere of influence so unless she actually did something douchey on a personal level i could possibly like her as a person and have a good time making fun of her artistic choices.

liz phair, on the otherhand... her brand of self importance hits a little closer to home and therefore i think i would despise her a little bit more in real life. this makes liz phair more douchey.
