Securely cemented in my top five reads. So good.

Sadly neglected for reasons unknown to myself, is his short The Lost Ones.
60 (or so) pages of prose extraordinaire.

Neither copy I own has that jacket.

I love this drawing of him.

murderedman wrote:I have a quick stupid avatar question. How do you create yours? I find that in order to get it under the maximum file size, I have to make the pic very, very small. What's the secret to making avatars?

Are you using Photoshop, Gregg? If so, the "Save for Web & Devices" option lets you mess with the quality (for .jpg) or the depth and color space (.gif) to bring your file size down. If you're not using Photoshop, um, geez...just PM me.

just type "make avatar" into google. there are several sites that allow you to upload a picture, which the site then converts into an avatar of a particular size and resolution that is suitable for your needs.

that's what I did.

oh, and my avatar is jorge lorenzo, doing what he does best - high siding his ass to the moon and crashing the shit out of a $2Million race bike. This particular pic is from China. He did it again last weekend in California.
