Who's scared of a few pregnant hookers?

why do you think he changed his avatar? good old fashioned western male patterned fear, that's why.

I got to see the Polvo show from the rooftop deck of the building next to the pontiac with a friend of mine from austria and maybe ten other people. I stalked scott and tutku like a sniper with my camera phone before the show. it was fun!

watching them from five floors above over a mass of 1000+ was fucking epic. possibly one of the finest show experiences I've had the pleasure of enjoying. got a couple not great, but pretty cool camera phone shots from up above.

not crap.
kerble is right.

Ended up at Penny's with Supe, the wife, and the Col.

You picked one of the worst Thai restaurants in town over one of the best bands ever? Ha!!

Polvo is bendier than weak-ass thai noodles.

I like Penny's, it's good and cheap and a 2 minute walk from my house

My mother is a very nice woman, you would like her a lot. I can't believe you would say these terrible things about her.

Best bands ever?!?

Anyway, Polvo was finished playing by the time we went to eat. When we realized that all the food booths were closing down, we happened to be like 100 feet away from Penny's. So instead of fighting the crowds for several blocks looking for a better place, we just grabbed a table and sat down.

The food was OK. Sure, it ain't no Arun or Thai Classic, but it's not total garbage either. I've had worse Thai food, believe me. That place across the street from Columbia College, what was it called, "Thai Spoon"? That place was absolutely horrible.

Yes. Ever. For me, number one. Best good-to-bad-song ratio of any band, to my ears, at maybe 98, 99%

I only been to that Penny's twice, and both times it was terrible. I'd take the place across from the Wabash building in a heartbeat. It's one of two Thai restaurants in town that I've found truly terrible (only Thai Lagoon is worse).
