252Don't worry. I will soon be in the House that Some Fat Guy Built. The last time I was at The Stadium, it was the 2002? playoffs against the Angels. I think it was the first round. David Wells started and there was no smoking. I don't think the Yanks won another game. I'd like to think I had something to do with that. World Series as foregone conclusion = CRAP. I will go to this terrible place. I will wear my Mets jersey, proudly. I will Jeer the Yankees. I will boo the Red Sox. I will laugh at how Steinbrenner can't close his mouth. I will say these things in front of children. I will have 9 dollar beers thrown towards me.
I love baseball.

253Here's a question for you two team cities...
So a Mets fan is to a White Sox fan as a Yankees fan is to a Cubs fan?

Well, shit, the 1962 Mets could've put up as much of a fight in getting swept by the Rockies in the first round of the playoffs last year as the Phillies did. And half those dudes are dead.

nah, the point was to indicate who the natives root for...
native chicagoans root for the sox.
native new yorkers root for the mets...at least any borne before 1980 and after 1955.
