Battles and Broken Social Scene, two bands which I really like, are playing the same time slot this Saturday.

I must make a choice between the two. So I'm leaning towards seeing Battles. I heard they're great live. But I'm still on the fence.

Any advice?

I saw Broken Social Scene in Feb. at the Metro and it was hands-down the best show of the year for me. Amazing, amazing show.

Highly recommend seeing them.

BSS are a great live show. Perhaps you could ditch the evening crap at lollapalooza and find a ticket on craigslist to see them play at Metro later that evening. Avoid opener Yeasayer live - they were worthless opening up for Man Man at Logan Square auditorium, but I liked their music on their MySpace page.

BSS is a great live band. Can't speak for Battles.

Battles live has blown me away twice. Both times were before they toured for Mirrored. I can't speak for BSS as their music is a turn-off for me and everyone who listens to them here in Cleveland are really annoying hipsters.
