Web Browser: Mozilla Firefox

I always choose 'Save and Quit'.

It seems like random now whether it will behave though.

Sometimes the browser opens right back up with the same tabs as before.

Sometimes the browser opens to only a single perfectly blank tab
(like it doesn't even go to my specified 'Home Page" even...

Lately it's been about a 50/50 crapshoot.

Anybody else experiencing this?

I haven't downloaded 3, but if it's anything like 2, it should ask you if you want your previous tabs restored when you open it.

Firefox, as you know, is highly customisable. Using greasemonkey scripts, you can edit your favourite websites to your whim.
By default, youtube for me appears as white on black with high resolution and double video size as the standard, with zero advertisements and the sponsored videos box removed. Comments are nowhere in sight.
The best part is the big red "DOWNLOAD VIDEO" button that appears.

That is the appeal of Firefox. Remember the gabbly sidebar in firefox? That was awesome.

Right - but what I'm sayin' is that shit is flaky... I always make sure to click 'Save and Quit', but upon re-opening the browser it doesn't always re-open those tabs... shit like this drives me nuts, because I'm always performing the *same* action, and yet I'm randomly getting different results... argh.

BUT - for a workaround, I have noticed this... if instead of closing Firefox normally, if I just go into Task Manager or Process Explorer and "kill" the process... then the next time I open Firefox it will always remember my previous tabs.

Argh.
My mind, it's a terrible diskette.

Have you submitted a bug report? https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/

FWIW, I havent experienced this bug, but I dont typically ask it to remember my tabs when I quit.

AH - no, but I shall... thanks for jiggling my brain to do that.

I looked around for a solution, but I've had no luck.

I haven't had that problem, but I do notice that these newer flash ads (like these obnoxious recent eBay ones for example) slip right past the FlashBlock extension like it wasn't there... =(
