Best pedal I have ever bought. My friend Sonny makes them. They are copies of the big green USSR big muffs. They sound better than the originals. If you can, I recommend picking one of these up!

i emailed this dude a month or so ago and got no reply...

Yeah, Sonny is not quick with the email replies. I dont know why that is. Ive emailed him twice and never gotten a reply.

Perhaps he's up to his eyeballs in pedals he needs to make for folks and doesnt need any more orders. More likely though, knowing Sonny, is that the pedal business is one of about ten things he's doing, and he's a little behind the eight ball.

I like to imagine that he responds faster to Myspace messages, but I wouldnt know, as I dont do the whole Myspace thing. Perhaps an avid Myspace fan could confirm for us.

Someone should. That's a fucking great fucking pedal. I'd buy it if I wasn't broke and already selling things I'll regret, and didn't have one already.
The Machine on bass guitar will be the Rusty Box of 2040. I'm crappin you negative.

Decided to keep it. Its not the easiest pedal to use---instead of the grind I was getting out of it before, I'm now using it for a crazy over blown effect.

It think it was a moog or oberheim design.

Not sure if you meant me or Japmn, but I've never played one of the earlier FZ-1's so I can't give you a comparison with those. I also read somewhere that it may be a Moog design, but I've never heard for sure. It does cop a decent "Satisfaction" fuzz sound- nice and buzzy / gated without much sustain. Way rawer and less sustain-y than a Fuzz Face or Big Muff.

I have played earlier Maestro fuzztones and they are real cool in as much as they are ranchy and change the the attack of the guitar.

I have a Maestro rythum and sound it has a fuzz in it that I love but is a different design than the regular fuzztone.

General Guitar gadgets have the circut for the big one with the balance knob and looking at the circut it seems to be more complicated and I have heard good things. I have been thinking about building one after my Bee Baa is finished.
