ROFL.

Anyway, gosh, it's been so long since I was on here that I forgot my handle!! OMG.

So this is my details.

I got 100% in my maths exam. HO-LY SHIT.

I've been packing big cavity wounds and doing stuff with catheters and washing legs and shouting at social services. WAHOO.

My car failed its MOT for broken side lights (so what?), corroded brake something or other (which he failed to notice last month when he fixed my brakes?) and today I took it to another place because my battery warning light stayed on, result? Need New Alternator.

All in all, including tax, this will cost me £too.much.

Gonna get rid, buy a bike, live off the land or summat.

Am in a band. We are called Natural Man (snigger, it's the best of a bad bad bunch, actually I rather like it). It's going great guns and I feel all warm and happy inside because of it. I am bassing one right off again and it feels good.

I have been working night shifts. YAWN.

I get online, briefly about once a week. Have i missed much? I've certainly missed you.

As vaguely as possible.

Got called to jury duty today, but was dismissed after selection. Criminal case: resisting arrest and assault on a police officer was the charge.

During jury selection the defendant's attorney took great pains to make the prospective jurors understand that a) the burden of proof was on the state, b) part of that burden was proving intent, c) the defendant was admittedly addicted to and high on meth when the alleged event took place, and d) regardless of how we felt about drugs, we had to separate that from our judgement as to whether he had been capable of intent when the assault took place, and e) etc. All of this without getting into any of the specifics of the case at all and being very friendly and affable.

The officer of the court for the state was a "Certified Law Student," as she was introduced. She looked about 24 or so. She got up after the defense and thanked us all for our patience and honesty, said she had been paying close attention to our answers, followed up on a few of our responses, then said, "Oh, and I really only have one more question.....raise your hands, any of you who have either been, or witnessed someone been, kicked in the groin." Most all of us did, and she picked one of the most talkative of us and asked how it felt. "It hurt like hell," he said. She asked if any of us thought that our experience with kicks in the balls would affect our impartiality at all. We said no. She said thanks and sat down.

I thought that was pretty much a drop-kick for the state, from where I sat, and just during jury selection.

so the job i've been doing for the past four months decided i wasn't experienced enough to get the full time post. despite the fact i've done the fucking job for four months, know it inside out and get on well with everyone.

they do however want me to stay on for another month until the new person can start.

fuck them and leave today or be sensible and take the cash and hope i can find a new job this month?

fuck them is my current thought.
