So you admit you listen to Q101?

MrFood wrote:Hold on a sec - there's 10 songs on this album, and five pieces of vinyl = 10 sides.

1 song per side? What? Why?

Sides 6-10 are the club remixes. You forget, James is a gay icon.

I might see a band called extreme packaging.

The high pricetag for the vinyl and number of records seems to make sense, at least somehow. They're living in a world where they need to make a ton of money to maintain their deathstyles, and where digital media are basically useless at making money. If the vinyl is 45rpm and the songs are pretty long, I can see how they'd want only one song per side. It's a way for them to give the listener a "high-quality" product, sonically, that isn't going to be fileshared and torrented and etc etc.

Maybe the "magnetic" aspect of the title comes from the album having been recorded on analog tape rather than digital? Doesn't seem likely, but could be cool.

The last Metallica album I bought was the black album, and it was a major disappointment. I would love for them to put out a new album that I was actually interested in hearing. I listen to MP3s of songs off RTL, MOP, and AJFA every couple months. It'd be great to have something new in that mix.
"The bastards have landed"

www.myspace.com/thechromerobes - now has a couple songs from the new album
