yup, twice. first time i was in a little agricultural college and my bro found some on a field trip. went back to school and we had a nibble on it. lifted the mood of the class immeasurably. second time got given a carrier bag full of dried stuff. made a nauseating tea. drank loads. felt sick for ages. then an intense rush which saw me giggle once and fall off the sofa. then it was over. bit anti-clymatic. moral - use the fresh stuff.

I'm not planning on doing it, but I'm quite sure it was Fly Agaric, the classic red top with the white dots, it looked exactly like the photo in the link above. Even though I'm sure that's what it is, I wouldn't take a chance on a wild mushroom, since I am not any kind of mycologist.

Weed, cocaine, poppers, heroin, starter fluid, LSD (blotter, liquid and micro-dot), mushrooms, Robitussin, Kools dipped in formaldehyde, PCP, ecstacy, glue, all manner of pills, meth, banana peels (did nothing), nutmeg (nothing), crack (freebase), gave them all up years ago, the only thing I still love is ALCOHOL. Sweet, sweet alcohol.

I've done a few on that list, only have really cared for alcohol and coke (only if it's free... hardly ever). I'd do a lot more drugs but I'm too lazy to deal with calling people and shit.

Is actual methamphetamine powder even around anymore? I only ever hear of crystal meth nowadays? Where's the honor?

Wow... that sounds fucking awesome. I mean, Jordorowsky while tripping balls. Not talking to border guards while tripping balls. I recently watched Jan Svankmajer's "Alice" while tripping, and it was great.

I've smoked a lot of weed, dropped acid thrice, took DXM a few times (its not that great),and I've smoked salvia a bunch of times and only got high off it once (its pretty crappy). Thats it, really.

I smoke cigarettes occasionally, drink coffee all the time, and drink the booze occasionally too, if we're counting those.

OH... and I'll add my 2 cents concerning bong rips. They fuck me up. Big time. I have never been so utterly stoned in all my life as when I took a bong rip. There was also another time I smoked some left-over charred weed in a bowl at a friends place and was stoned as fuck for about 12 hours or so... including my entire shift at work. No come-down.

Everything on that list except for heroin and morphine. (Meth and cocaine once each.) A few other things, too.

It was all OK and I still smoke pot and cigarettes (not 100% unproblematic, either of those), but it was mostly a waste of time. I drink once in a while. I'd take ecstasy again, maybe some mushrooms, but I'm not going to go out of my way to find them.

I've never even seen heroin or crack, though a couple of friends got into them in the 90s with predictable results. From my prior experience with nicotine as a powerfully addicting stimulant and a few recreational uses of narcotic pain meds, I think any use of stuff like that would take me straight to roaring addiction and a much worse, much shorter life.

That was what absinthe was like the one time I drank a lot of it -- feeling drunk and sort of out of control but also very lucid, without any sense of sloppiness. Foul-tasting beverage, though.
