Futurama does beat its ass as does many other shows, futurama had something good though and needs to be brought back.
There's a lot more material with the characters, and setting in futurama to explore and its a shame it was cut short and now has less popularity than shows like simpsons and family guy.
Not bashing Simpsons, a definite classic but i do feel its been overdone by now.

98There were a few great episodes, and most of the first three seasons are good, and then the fourth and fifth seasons have some gems and then are BOGGED DOWN with flashbacks and over the top, annoying, and downright cruel or terrible moments. It's like they left the jokes that got no laughs in on purpose.
