I don't consider you to be a racist. I just meant to point out that when we say certain things in anger, it can reflect badly on us, and saying something negative to somebody while invoking their race is one of those things.

Hey now, yuppies aren't just men, and if anything it's a slur against an attitude that I find EXTREMELY distasteful. There's nothing wrong with calling someone a yuppie if they ask for it.

Last night, after karaoke w/ members of this board, I was the recipient of some extremely offensive slurs against women by some yuppie. I was in such shock all the way to the cab, who, when he drove by ANOTHER Wicker Park yuppie, called out to my cab driver, "Hey Muhammed, why don't you stop?!"

I have NO problem calling out yuppies.
