Matsumoku made guitars are famous for their craftsmanship. I plan to buy some after I buy all the other stuff higher up on my priority list.

Go play it and if you like it and could get it for around $200 it'd be well worth it.

Yes, they're the same design, they have the same dimensions. The only difference is in how the speaker is mounted. The EV(Thiele) way is preferred, so the speaker don't get rubbed against the wood.

Those vantage guitars are really well built, and actually sound good too.
especially for metal.
there are ones that have all the gold "bits" that look a little flasher than this one.
think a less ugly jerry garcia guitar...

I bought one here in Australia (left handed) for $215 about a year or so ago.

If they have EVM 15L inside, then it's probably 200w or 400w..

Just agreed to buy some sort of weird vocoder you can put a guitar through for 75 bucks. Going to pick it up later tonight. He played me some shit over the phone, sounded real fucked up. I'm in.
