I'd much rather listen to Noam Chomsky, for example, speak on the language of racism and oppression then Carlos Mencia. But I think that Mencia "gets through" to more people because many don't have the attention span for Chomsky. Of course that doesn't make Mencia more right, it just means he has more popular appeal. I personally think he's an irritating idiot.
I don't object to Lisa Lampanelli using racism as a topic for comedy BTW, I object to her being annoying and unfunny.
Noam Chomsky and Carlos Mencia? Dude, that's like saying Sabbath vs. Dokken, which would you rather listen to?
Chomsky or George Carlin. A little more equal as far as raw intelligence goes. Who would you rather hear speak on 'the langauge of racism and oppression' or whatever hoodie doody name ya wanna give it for 2 hours?
