Why the fucking hell did you even go?

I don't get it.

You sound like you would be a blast to hang out with.

Fuck.

I really thought the music would be the bore-fest that it was but there was shred of hope that it would be closer to show I saw two years ago which was totally great. Really great. That's why I went. I was holding out hope.

Did you actually like the music or just the event, vibe? I had fun. It was a fun time but not b/c of the music.

I'm not allowed to bitch about the prospect of musically fruitless endeavor from a band who's music I otherwise find truly inspiring? They did this b/c it was a spectacle. It did nothing musically and was pretty much catered to the indie crowd who has either forgotten them or were too young to know who the hell they are. I went there for music and got none.

That sounds soooo lame

Dude. Seriously.

I hate to tell you...it was so lame. Slumming for them.

Dude, whatever.
I am listening to am Mp3 of it right now, the LA one right this second and it sounds pretty fucking cool to me. Sounds even better than the last year one which also sounds pretty fucking cool to me.

Somehow the Boredoms decide to play a show with 88 fucking drummers and there are people out there who say 'that is so lame'

Ok, go find something you think is cool and do that then.

'Sup,

You understand that I love the Boredoms, right? They are awesome!

This event was crap. Boring crap that baffled me. The only part that locked was during the singing towards the very end but no one is going to say that b/c they listen with their eyes and all they know is that there were 88 drummers and that's so odd it must be great. It was really weak in comparison to the boredoms I like. Excuse me for having an opinion on the actual music.

Why don't we add 85 ad-hoc drummers to Nomeansno or the Melvins? It will probably sound like kids at summer camp also.

I have seen them play as The Boredoms many times. I would go to those shows expecting them to perform as The Boredoms if that's how they were billed.
This was not The Boredoms doing a show as The Boredoms. If you don't dig "drum circles," then why would you go to see them play in a giant "drum circle?"
A bit perplexing to me.
It's not as if you were clueless about the event, it was billed as 88 Boadrum. They didn't mislead you into thinking they were going to play Vision Creation Newsun in it's entirety.

I enjoyed the entire event. I can't even imagine how pissed off you would be if you were there from 9 am like we were!

Dude, you can bitch about whatever the fuck you want to bitch about, but just get one thing straight here, you were never going to see THE BOREDOMS on Friday night!
More proof that they were not THE BOREDOMS... Seiichi Yamamoto was playing with them on Friday night. He is not in THE BOREDOMS line-up anymore. He was doing a guest thing for the BOADRUM event. Capisci?

IT WAS SPONSORED BY FUCKING NIKE!

IT WAS FUCKING FREE!

THE ICE CREAM WAS FREE!

THE SHIRTS WERE FREE!

WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU WANT FOR FREE?

I would not classify myself as being part of "the indie crowd."

If you were there, you got music...FREE MUSIC. It just wasn't up to your standards of what "music" should be.

I'm sorry you did not enjoy the music. I would not have enjoyed anything about the event at all if I was there with you having to listen to you complain the entire time.

Wow. you really filled in the gaps for/about me. I was the one holding up that big sign saying, "This isn't really the Boredoms. This isn't as good."

You sound like a loon. How am I doing...?

If it wasn't the Boredoms, why did they play their exact same set as their last tour except with 85 drummers tacked on. it WAS the Boredoms and it was lame.

I didnt complain about the price. I'd pay $30 to see a great Boredoms set no prob. I'm not pissed. It was a relaxing event...boring as hell.

I apologize to you, Nina, for not enjoying that lame, pointless spectacle.
