Bath tub gin: Anyone ever do this?

1) My last name translates to "little maltster."

2) My grandpa went to prison for moonshining during prohibition.

3) I grew up around wine making and brewing with my hippie parents. I met my best friend for life at a home brewers' party when we were two years old. I think that we may have been drinking a bit.

The only real question is, "why haven't you been making gin in your bathtub for the past ten years, Amanda?"

I brewed "Rocket Fuel" one summer when we had the biggest Tangerine growth spurt on our trees.
It was a wax lyrical Vodka/Tangerine christmas on the hammock.
Do it C McG! Just don't blow anything up.....
The very existence of flamethrowers proves that sometime, somewhere, someone said to themselves, “You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I’m just not close enough to get the job done.” - George Carlin R.I.P

He actually started doing it, and got quite into it. He then got to a stage in the process where some by-product of the distilling process needed to be syphoned off - or something - and he read that if this phase was not done properly, the drink would actually be fucking lethal. Like - lights out, you're dead - lethal.

Around the same time it was in the local news around Peckham (SE London) that a bunch of kids had been killed from drinking knock-off vodka that they'd bought from some local chancer.

So he aborted the process, for fear of killing or blinding all his friends. Which I suppose was quite nice of him.

Ok like I said I have not done this, however after drinking from a EA persons still I did some research and you would have to be not so bright to poison yourself by brewing bad booze, basically all you have to do is pay attention, and not drink while running the still

the dangerous hooch boils off at a much lower temp, you drain it off an you are safe, I believe that the gov just wants everyone to think it it dangerous so we don't all start brewing our own...
