Last night while getting ready for bed, casually admiring my belly, flexing my noodle-like biceps in the mirror, I suggested to my girl friend that I might try that new “Phelps” diet that folks are all talking about… it might improve my physique a little if that’s possible.



She wearily lifted her head up from the pillow and said “What? Vanessa Feltz is on a diet again?”

The guy burns 4000 calories in one workout.

I was friends with a swimmer in college and I watched that guy eat something close to Phelps' breakfast on more than one occasion. (I also watched him eat an entire baked chicken in a sitting for dinner.) Dedicated high-level athletes like that will wake up earlier than necessary expressly so they can get those calories in.

Besides, you think he's making all that for himself when he's prepping for an Olympics? I'm sure he's getting some help in the kitchen.
