I probably wouldn't outright say no unless it was a really close friend and in that case they would know I was just looking out for them in the same way I made my overweight friend take back the milk chocolate candy bar the other day and buy a dark chocolate one instead (I know, not much better, but a little). When you say 'the kid turned out fine' you don't know that. Yes the baby looked like a baby maybe, but the shit smoking affects is way down the line shit, like being able to learn and read and not be fucking stupid.
They have conclusively linked learning disabilities later in life with the mother smoking while pregnant. It takes away oxygen that the baby needs going to it's brain. Even a little tiny bit might seriously effect it. The fucking thing is an inch long, what you think is an insignificant amount of poison is a pretty massive fucking dose.
