green beans, black beans, fava beans, black-eyed peas, chickpeas, cannellini, those little French green lentils, and edamame.

There was a time when I pretty much lived on garbanzo beans alone. Hummus is a kick ass thing, too, whose main ingredient is garbanzo beans.
