Drug: LSD

No there isn't.

That is to say, DMT is naturally produced in small amounts in various tissues in the human body, to unknown effect, but LSD contains no DMT. DMT is an entirely different substance.

And a serious fucking substance at that. A real dissociative, not just a hallucinogen, full-on visionquest ritual material.

I hang out with a couple of folks who are really into this sort of thing, so I get a lot of the information what as people love to talk about drugs. They rep DMT over everything, but consider it the sort of thing you do very, very rarely.

This is very, very true.

I knew a guy who took DMT once. He said it was the most intense drug experience of his life - that he couldn't move, think, or speak literally two seconds after he first ingested it. He said it was amazing, but that he would never do it again.
Life...life...I know it's got its ups and downs.

Yeah I know. It's amazing. I was reading the book by some doctor entitled "DMT" with an alex grey artwork cover and I swear he was speaking how certain LSD has DMT in it. He also goes off about how DMT is amazing, in which case it is.

I was also reading a study once about DMT in our brains and how the receptors release it when your born and when you die. In people who are highly schizo and hallucinate have issues with the receptors and that they control differently.

Of course.

Reassurance and a possible bit more of an enlightenment of something you already "know".

You have really done a great injustice to Dr. Strassman's work here. Which is fine. I gather you are the resident asshat of this forum.

For the rest of you, Dr. Rick Strassman's, DMT - The Spirit Molecule, is available for download in PDF form here. Highly recommended for skeptics and seekers alike.
