I need to move a meter bridge from Columbia, South Carolina to Chicago, and was trying to find a swift way to do it. It is in two boxes, the largest is about 1'x1'x8', the other is much smaller, nothing too heavy.
I will make it worth your while, maybe?

3I live an hour away from Columbia, and was going to visit Chicago around this time, before money problems swallowed up my vacation fund. Very sorry I couldn't be the guy to make this happen.

6Greg not that its a free way to do this, buy board member Peripatetic, works at a freight forwarding company, I haven't used him but I have gotten quotes from him and they are pretty spot on... I bet he could pull a favor...

Isn't someone going to have to rent a truck/van to do this? I have a station wagon, but I am pretty sure that I wouldn't be able to fit something 8' long in the back of it, even with all the seats down flat.
Peripatetic may be the way to go.
