Yep, lots of experience says that rubber cement is the jam. A nice thick paper would make a wonderful gatefold case. I know I like them far better than the plastic guys when I buy a CD.

You all will say I'm crazy but seriously, Gorilla Glue rules for split record covers.

I'm talking the kind where the old glue is split, not ones that are torn down the seam...those are a lost cause when it comes to glue.

Anyway, I just do a strip of glue down the part where the old glue is, push it together, put it on a hard floor or table or whatever and stack a shitload of old records on top for a day.

Works perfectly.
