Katrin is a wonderful singer. The Ex should do a Penis Envy type album where they have Katrin sing all the songs and have G.W. do percussion or something.

Every time I've seen them she's either made me dance in pure bliss, or cry. Often Katrin's singing and drumming make the band for me.
Great Deceiver

Oh they're great alright. try to get some of their stuff from 84-89, it seems like it would be up your alley.
Well, that's just, like, your opinion, man.

87I brought some friends from work with me and they were blown away. They never heard The Ex before. We had to leave just when the music was settling in. Still, what I saw of it was amazing.

the Ex is better than any band that isn't the Ex.
I have none of their records, and don't listen to them at all recorded.
still, the best live band.
my god, it was so nice to hear them quietly for a change. it really brought out how tightly rhythmic their music is. like the JB's on the one. they sound great as a pop band, too. so great.
the clarinet player was not human.
incredible.
kerble is right.
