There was a lot of cool stuff, I went to a lot of DJ events back then. I have some I still like. Mr Dibbs, his solo records are always pretty fucking cool. I liek Kid Koala even though he's been doing the same set for what, 12 years now?
Kid Koala tried to kick us out of one of his shows once, he asked us nicely to leave and when we said no, he said he'd give us records and t shirts if we left. We took the stuff and then stayed and made twice as much noise after that.
I kinda feel bad now, because he seems like a nice guy. We had just gotten into the whiskey and pills early and heavy that night.

this was totally 96-97, soundtrack to riding around with my best girlfriends, going to shows or for pizza or to weird people's houses. drinking fruit flavored malt liquor... good times. great record.
