The first post-Lips LP you should listen to is Raining Milk. The records that followed Lips were not so great, but Raining Milk is about as good as the later stuff gets.

Blood On The Moon is also a really good LP.

If you want the definitive Chrome, get the Chrome Box. There's a repressing of it on CD, but you want the LP Collection. 6 LPs, and should only cost about 250.00 USD for a mint set.

I'd second all the suggestions for Chrome Box from Cleopatra. Very good compilation that gives a great overview of some of the best periods of the band.
