I knew the story was a sad one, but I wasn't prepared for exactly how depressing it was. Also, I had no idea Michael Imperioli played him in a 2003 biopic. I haven't seen this film, but this casting just doesn't work in my head.

Decent flick. Imperioli does well.

I like cake.

Use it as an excuse to get to know people better.

"I saw there was cake and a gathering.... I'm the new guy."

Go in and join in. You've got to make the effort in those situations. The work birthday party is a good ice breaker.
