I run a home studio and also charge by the day - out of interest, how long do your 'days' end up being? I know you guys won't want to answer the question because that's the whole concept of the 'day', but is there an average or a range you can think of?And do you sometimes have a band who just do about an hour or two of vocals in that day and leave and feel sort of like they should have been charged less? Or have a sort of stingy band record for like 12 hours straight?Just interested.ThanksPS: Any other wisdom about pricing schemes and stuff that anyone else uses would be cool to discuss.
