The band that I'm in is putting out an EP in May. One of the formats available will be a data DVD that contains the .wav files for each track for each song. This will allow the listener to put these files on some mutitrack audio program and remix it as they like, from making small level adjustments to totally chopping the hell out of it. Since we haven't done this before, I want to make sure that what we've put together works for anyone who could expect to buy it. I'd like to test it with three different people: - one who knows very little about recording but would be inclined to give it a shot; - one who is comfortable around any particular DAW program; and - one person who has done a fair amount of professional recording. Each of these folks could give a valuable and different level of feedback. If anyone fits the bill on this and would be happy to help, let me know. I'll send you the current version of the DVD. If you could take an hour or so to test it out - import each of the tracks into a program of your choice and listen to each song at least once through - it would go a long way towards making sure this works well. I'll mail it out to you this week and you'll run the test within a week of getting the disc. You can then obviously keep the files - I'd just ask also that you keep them to yourself at least until the record is out. To keep this easy for now, we'll just need one of each type of person, though we may do a second round of testing if we find there are problems.Let me know if anyone's interested.= Justin
