That's all it takes.Had been doing this religiously for a couple of months and it made a noticeable difference in my chest and arms. Didn't do much for the encroaching dough around my middle, since laying off the beer just isn't in the cards for me.All it took was my wife being out of town for this past week and all my quasi-healthy habits went right out the window.

I can't work out how much is too much with this stuff...I skimmed around online, and these products seem to be very low in calories. Juice is generally garbage, but one bottle of 50-calorie juice per week doesn't seem like a problem if you're otherwise eating healthfully.

We'd have to find volunteers to hose us off afterward (I mean before heading to Hopleaf of course), but that might be just as much fun.I hate to even bring it up, but it's got me thinking.Kind of like the Iron Man.... but the Aluminum Man.The PRF Aluminum Man 18 Mile Speed-Waddle.just putting that in my pipe and smoking it right now.I was intrigued by this as well. I'm nowhere near ready to attempt an 18-miler this summer, but it might be a goal for next summer.

Winter is right out, since we're talking Chicago here.Spring 2011? May 1st maybe?Problem with May 1st is that we Chicagoans would have to do some hardcore training during the winter. If a PRFer or two plans to run the marathon in autumn, perhaps the 18-mile run could coincide with their training schedule.

I think. Someone help me out here....When I trained several years ago (before getting injured three fucking weeks before the thing), my regimen required gradually increasing the distance of the long run every other week, with shorter runs on the "off" weeks, sort of like this:Week one: 12 milesWeek two: 8 milesWeek three: 14 milesWeek four: 8 milesWeek five: 16 mileset cetera, et cetera. My longest runs consisted of two 20-mile runs, the last of which was three weeks before the marathon. The length of the long runs tapered. I believe the last three weeks were like this:Week one: 20 milesWeek two: 13 milesWeek three: 8 milesWeek four: marathon.Something like that. Does that gel with your experience?(The second 20-miler was likely the one whut got me. Would I train again, I would only do one 20-miler.)
