record and/or mix at EA???

We'd like to mix in France for several reasons: - a french singer, from the great band Virago, will sing on 1 or 2 songs, and we can't bring him with us. So we'll have to record some vocals after the session at Electrical Audio, and then mix. Also, there will be maybe more additonal takes (other instruments...) - for money reasons, we unfortunately can't come back in Chicago for mixing after we record these vocals, and we don't want to mix by email or something like that (don't know the right word!) - we know someone very good, in whom we trust also.but nothing is fixed, and if we /you found another solution we're open! I already email Stephen about all this.

I prefer to work on sessions from start to finish, as do most engineers, because then I can maintain continuity of the session. What is the reason you'd want to switch engineers in the middle of the session?
