Alright, so everyone is in a race to post about the latest dead person. They wanna let everyone know that they knew, five minutes before you did, that this person has expired. It's really weird. I'm fascinated (and mildly irritated) by such behavior. So put all your recently dead people here, in this thread, and stop bothering people, you friggin' sociopath.

(If this is because I bumped the Christopher Hitchens thread, I came by here after I heard he passed, figuring there'd be 20 posts in that thread about his death/legacy, which I'd be interested in reading. There wasn't, so I mentioned it there. I got no pride or kicks out of it.)

Point taken, but I might like being able to see what my friends have to say about so-and-so in the future easily via Google. I sometimes like what those folks have to say about so-and-so, and this thread threatens to slightly inconvenience me.
