Anyone want a free but non-working Litter Robot? I bought this thing in 2008, and it was expensive as hell. This summer, one of my two cats stopped shitting in it for some reason. Then it just up and died. (The litter robot, not the cat.) I replaced the power adapter and it's still not working. You can buy a new circuit board and other various parts on their web site, but I don't feel like dumping any more money into this thing if my one cat is still going to shit elsewhere.Feels like a waste to just throw it out but I'll probably do that if nobody here or amongst my facebook friends is interested. If you live in Chicago and want to come pick it up, it's yours. I'll half-ass clean it up (remove the litter, wipe down the outside with some clorox wipes), and then it's yours to try to fix, throw out in your own dumpster, have a crazy cat scat party with, whatever your heart desires. PM me.This thing was pretty cool for the three years it was working fine and both of my cats didn't mind shitting in it. Was especially good for when we went out of town--much less work for people checking on our cats to deal with. Shame it doesn't work any more for me.
