The video of the meat smoke is insane. I dont know if its low output or osmething, but diming every knob on a 400 watt amp is sort of mind boggling.

I guess getting that and a 200 watt watt power amp is cheaper and more realistic (who the fuck needs a 400 watt tube amp?) than the meatsmoke.Did you see the 300 watt guitar amp he built? Unless youre sleep you do not need that much.

I compare it more to the Alembic F1-X or F2-B pre-amps, which new cost over a grand.Yes but the alembics core audience is jazz fusion wankers who rub snake oil up their asshole before every gig because stanley clarke told them to (sorry, I'm sure their pre amps are actually good).
