Drum sound replacement software. Does EA give a yay or nay?

Here's one of the best posts i found on this forum:OOtim wrote:I recently recorded with Steve at Electrical. At some point during the session I decided to take a stroll through the depths of the building. Along my way I happened upon a most peculiar door. It seemed to be slightly open. I decided not to enter lest I be chastised by Steve. Later on, my curiosity got the best of me and i went to to peer inside. Just as i got close enough to reach the handle Steve came out of nowhere and thrust himself inbetween myself and the door. Hey Steve, what's in there i said. Nothing! he replied. Things were tense the remaider of the afternoon. I'm convinced I almost found his stash of samples. True storyThe whole thread can be found here: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=28016

Drum sound replacement software. Does EA give a yay or nay?

i'll always try to get around full-on sound replacement, as i don't even own any software for it. my curiosity wondered what EA's take on it is. had they been all for it, i would have really considered obtaining drumagog or something of that sort for touch ups. i'll just stick to getting good natural tones though, the way that it is supposed to be. if anything, i've found no harm in grabbing a good snare hit and pasting it in to where a bad one is (as long as the project is digital).
