Extremely pedantic technical question. In your description of the MXR Delay System II that Electrical features amongst the equipment available for use while recording at the studio -http://www.electricalaudio.com/item.php ... /256-0.jpg- you say it comes from the bucket-brigade era. Bucket brigade would imply analog, however, when this is clearly a digital unit. Now, maybe you mean that it's a digital delay that was manufactured at the same time as all those analog bucket-brigade units, but... I dunno. Teensy bit confused.

it means that the delay unit is quite old.

Digital bucket-brigade was a method of moving a sample from register to register according to the speed of a timer. It was a direct step from the BBD analog delays where a charge moved from one capacitor to another according to a timer in a CCD array. In both cases frequency response and fidelity both varied directly with the clock speed.

Hi guys.I have two of these lovely units. They have a very unique quality which I can't find anywhere else. Unfortunately, both of my units are FU and need repairing which is a nightmare. I can't get schematics of these units anywhere. If anybody has a schematic drawing, please let me know!Regards.Mark.
