Any experiences with the Verellen Coop?

Got my Meatsmoke pedal last weekend:Ran it through the effects return of my 400-RB, and holy shit, is this an awesome pedal. Took a little bit to dial in, but once I got it going it was great. I actually preferred how it worked with my EGC over my P-Bass, and definitely will make a fine substitute for hauling a heavy ass tube amp around. The pedal itself is pretty big; probably take up about as much real estate as the 400-RB itself. The boost also sounds awesome, just nice fuzzy tube distortion. I preferred the boost on the this overall to the Rusty Box boost. So yeah, between this, the Rusty Box, and/or the Thermionic Effects TE-01, I can safely leave the V4-B at home.

Any samples you feel like sharing? I have almost the exact same set-up as you. EGC into a 800rb w/ a Mesa Diesel 2x15. Downsizing from a Blueline SVT into an 8x10.tallchris wrote:Got my Meatsmoke pedal last weekend:Ran it through the effects return of my 400-RB, and holy shit, is this an awesome pedal. I know there's a thread on Talkbass that a dude posted samples on FWIW.Also, real minor quibble: when you quote posts, could write below the test your quoting? Easier to see how the conversation develops then if you write on top of the quote (and kind of standard here).

This is legitimately awesome:Paul Allen ordered this custom amp about a week ago, needing it in time for the super bowl. 50 watt super lead with a blackface twin preamp, and footswitchable BEAST MODE overdrive (hawk eye turns red), complete with knobs that go to 12. We're going to the Super Bowl!!!
