My truck crapped out last week. It needs a new power steering pump, a new rack, new ball joints....all that shit. Total repairs would be $2700. The truck is a 1999 Ranger with 130K miles.I guess I'm going to buy a fucking Prius since this is Atlanta and I sit in my car for 1.5 hours every day, and burn a bajillion gallons of gas every year.Any Prius advice? I'm thinking a used 2010 will be around $17K.I REALLY don't want to deal with this.

But certainly much less expensive than my original plan to throw in the towel on winter and go buy a new car.Good job! Also, when you go to sell the Fit, you can tell any prospective buyer you've got the snow tires.

Driving my dumb little FWD sub-compact around like a fucking boss, in a snowstorm!Jesus, it cost an arm and a leg, but the difference is really night and day. I just muscled my way into a snowy, rutty parking space that I wouldn't have dared to try yesterday. Thanks, PRF!You-all saved my about $8K this week!Dude, that's fantastic! Big difference for sure. Did you get the tires and rims, or just the tires?

They've been significantly upgraded since 2012. I reckon you could score a used 2012 for less than the 2010 Prius.
**Do we need the other Chemical Bros. records??
