Well, I'm not expert but as I understand it...Black: high, screechy vocals; atmospheric, tremolo-picked guitars; extended instrumental passages with simpler arrangements.Death: guttural. growly vocals; crunchy riffy guitars; heavier, more complex, mathy arrangements.
