I highly recommend BBC's In Our Time. Weekly Panel discussion on History\Science\Culture\Religion. Each week dedicated to one topic. The host, Melvyn Bragg is great. It's been going for well over a decade (probably a lot long), and there are hundreds of archived episodes available.

cmay wrote:Really into all of the following podcasts' latest episodes recently. - U Talkin U2 to Me? - Very similar to Analyze Phish (except both hosts are fans of the band in this case), Scott Aukerman and Adam Scott talking about U2. MUCH less actual U2 talk than one would expect. The Commentary episode is gold. I don't like U2 but U Talkin' U2 to Me? is the greatest title. I've heard the first episode and now I have to hear them all.

This weird old Blues-Hippy-Freakout-Guitar guy I know in Arkansas has a huge and great record collection. He does a radio show at the local FM and it can be fantastic depending on what he wants to hear. Just his deep Arkansas hillbilly banter is pretty great. His Halloween Shows are the best.http://plasticmagic.blogspot.com/An example:http://www.mediafire.com/listen/xjzl06dcm7c4n5d/plasticmagic\_330\_october\_19\_2014\_serpent\_or\_a\_vine\_your\_eyes\_will\_get\_you\_every\_time.mp3

Here's a new podcast from Damnably in East London and these are now hosted on mixcloud after the MCPS wanted to charge us 150 per show we hosted via Podpress https://www.mixcloud.com/damnably/damna ... s-awesome/It's mostly post punk from 2014 but some 2015 tracks and other podcasts have live sets from gigs and interviews.
