Maybe this could go back to a general politics discussion now. I've been asked to participate in a round table on the following topicsThe pros and cons of TridentThe questions surrounding privacy and key word searches,The governments response to the refugee crisis and ISIS 'In/Out' of the EU.Anyone got opinions they want to share or good articles/resources? Looks like I'll be the sole (far) leftie there so I need to be well prepared.

Paul Mason:- Labour is ahead in the polls;- austerity is discredited; - Osborne's budget is unravelling; - the Tories are attacking each other;- and the Blairite criticisms of Corbyn have been blunted. Scratch One ToryThis is Jeremy Corbyn s victory. In one speech he s blown apart the Tory front bench, made likely two substantial revolts, destroyed the cabinet and made the Tories look like incompetent fools. And the weekend is young: it s probably not over. IDS letter to Cameron draws the logic clearly.

Tories have quite possibly irrevocably fucked themselves. With Cameron pledged to resign and his successor having been completely scuppered as a viable Prime Minister, it looks like things have turned a rather sudden corner. It's beginning to look like Corbyn could be our next PM, as incredible as it seems. Cameron is a fairly wiley operator and quite underrated I'd say. Osborne isn't in his class politically....and Boris? Clown.
