Working my way through a number of recommendations from 2014, lots of pretty raw stuff. Top two right now are Teitanblood:And Irkallian Oracle:Teitanblood is good but approaches unlistenable, Irkallian is more dirgey. Both really good for pushing boundaries.I'm also just wrapping my head around Portal's Vexovoid which, if you slept on it like I did, is pretty astonishing. Part of me thinks they may be the best band in the world right now.Seems like some of the more extreme areas of metal (ref. above) are doing some interesting shit. It's a fertile time.Oh!
