I still do.Just had a quick investigate to find the explanation.I'm terribly sorry to inform everybody that it would seem that this has been going on for some time and that they have been produced in numbers, for fans of steampunk ludicrously functionless xena-warrior-princess-prop-department items, which typically feature a lot of clockwork and diamante jewels. It's likely that the people making this horrendous example of a box set just bought them out of a catalogue. As for the curious brass fixture, there is a purpose for the plumbing-piece, and said purpose is fitting the despicable item to a stand made from a cog out of a clock. It also seems that they are comically illuminated from the brass fixture in a variety of colours, including green.Wow. Bummer.

This isn't even new. I have one of these in the garage: http://usa.yamaha.com/products/musical- ... ies/ez-eg/I found it at a flea market and thought it might make a passable MIDI controller but although it's kinda fun to mess around with it's a bit too much of a piece of shit to really use for anything. The fake strings actually work a bit better than you'd expect. The button fretboard works exactly as well as you'd expect.
