Janeway wrote:why did society tell us we're princesses that get rescued out of our towers by brave knights when we're always the ones at summer camp having to cross to the boys side and ask them to dance because all they can do is stare at us?Because, for narrative purposes, people tend to be unsympathetic to the plight of a man locked in a tower, making him unsuitable for use as character motivation. If you start your story with a man locked in a tower, people will think "oh well, fuck that dude, let him rot in the tower", the end. It's the flipside of the sexist double standard that society shows contempt for men who need rescuing.Lacking a princess, you'd do better to substitute a basket of kittens.Janeway wrote:instead of handing them sports, i wish senators taught their sons how to kiss a girl properly. start with her cunt, and work your way up..Like Donald Trump backstage at the Miss Universe pageant...ewww
