First experience with Reverb; my wife plays an old Airline lap steel and I've had my eye out for a case for that thing forever. New ones are around $150, which is too much, and used ones don't pop up that often. I saw an old Gibson lap steel case on Reverb for a good price, contacted the seller for dimensions, and sent the link to my wife. She bought it, paid for it, the seller contacted her to say thanks for your purchase, the case will ship out later today. The next day he refunded her money with no explanation. She contacted him and he said that he had decided to keep it...AFTER saying it was ready to ship. Fucking lame.

I like it for looking at pictures of gear I can't afford. I sold two pedals on there fairly quickly, but the 6-8 buyers that I had to communicate were super rude, demanding, and extreme low ballers. I mean 40% of what I was asking when I looked up the Guitar Center used going rate and made my price ten bucks cheaper. Again that is sellers, but Reverb has an article on their site encouraging heavy low ball offers in a guide to making money from buying pedals off reverb for less than they are worth and then selling them again on reverb for profit. That is lame.

I'd like to filter the results to only show non functioning condition stuff.Interesting. I see they have non functioning as an accepted condition term, but it's not part of the specific search options. Searching for that term manually does return results, though. I'd shoot them an email asking they add it to the advanced search screen., I'll send one, too.The helpful support person on the other end of the chat window said that she had submitted the same request earlier this week from somebody else.FWIW I asked for this through the chat window months ago.Broken stuff is the area that ebay still wins out on, I buy broken pedals on ebay fairly often and fining them on Reverb means guessing how a seller might describe them.
