I have also never listened to The Melvins.

I have never quite gotten what all the fuss was about with regard to Slint.

I can sort of understand the appeal but apart from the rare pleasing turn of melody here and there, Neutral Milk Hotel's music sounds like painful caterwauling to me.

I don't care about music and mostly listen to podcasts.

I've gone right off anything that doesn't sound like the ramones, sabbath, shellac or AC/DC.
