Not really, the last couple of times I popped down I paid that. To be honest, reading back, I had a knee-jerk reaction and came across pretty negative sounding. Totally not the case! Anything PRF related on these shores would be amazing and I d do my damnedest to be there. I guess being a northerner I have a permanent chip on my shoulder for anything south of Birmingham!

Fellas and Fellettas,I realise the London centric thing is a perennial political issue in the UK... but it's where I live and I'm offer to help lead this.I was hoping that if we can get out shit together the same way that Chicago et al have in the former colony we could do the same. To be honest I've barely had a pint with any of the UK PRFers in 15 years. It's fucking shameful.London could be a focal point for FMs/bands from Europe as well.I'm going to post the link to this in the US BBQ thread and ask for help organising. I also - more importantly - need help from people in the UK.A hands up for an organising committee would be good. August Bank Holiday could be a good date to aim for...We could even aim for Cafe Oto...

Yeah, the London-centric thing has raised its ugly head in the past - the problem we have is that we don't have a geographic focus for PRF in the UK in the way that the Chicago dudes have. I'm could name about 50 UK-based PRFers i've encountered on this forum and they're spread far and wide.It makes sense at this point, to me at least, to choose a city and a date and see who's interested. The Bristol PRFUK night was a lot of fun, and there's enthusiasm from several parties to have a meet-up of some kind.

This could be fun. Fielding of Cafe Oto used to put gigs on up here as Cry Parrot and I'm sure he'd be able to help out. Given how popular Oto seems it might not be the most cost effective option? The main issue for London maybe isn't so much travel, it's the cost of everything else after you get there. Worth exploring it though.
