I love "proto-disco funk," "proper" disco for discerning listeners, early disco-rap, and Eighties soul with hangovers from the disco era (though a lot of things labeled "boogie" don't do it for me); BUT I have no patience for most fake-disco house music. It might be that I just don't have time for a lot of what's considered "funky" house music anymore.Also, when I put together a Sixties-style soul mixtape, that Harrison track (which you can get from Numero Group) will be the first thing on it. For me it's total bliss, like a really tight Allen Toussaint-produced track. So catchy.
